Goodby to Hong Kong Medical Mission

When the early missionaries came to Hong Kong in 1852 they stayed only 4 months due to the inhospitable climate and difficult language. We stayed only four months, January to April 2008, and loved every minute of it. We will forever remember Hong Kong. This picture shows the harbor in 1958
Fifty years later, in 2008, the view from Victoria Peak is much different. It's now a bustling seaport with more sky scrapers than any city in the world.
Nighttime is just as beautiful as the day and each night at 8 pm there is a light show set to music utilizing the buildings around the Harbor. This view looks across the harbor toward Victoria Peak.

We sure miss you here in Hong Kong!! It's just not the same without you here. Those four months flew by, didn't they! But, perhaps I'll come visit you in Africa! That's one continent I haven't been to yet! Keep in touch!
