Living conditions here in Hong Kong are really very nice. The first picture shows Harmony "Mansion", where we live on the 15th floor, near the top of the picture. Since we haven't been able to go to a gym we use the stairs for our exercise.

This picture is the door to our apartment. We unlock the iron bars and slide them to the right and then unlock the inner door. We also have a code to get into the building as well as a doorman. You'd think this place wasn't very safe, wouldn't you? Well, the opposite is true. We feel very safe at all times (except in traffic - more on that later).
The next 2 pictures are of the main room in our apartment. You can see that although all the furniture doesn't match it's still very comfortable. We also have a small bedroom, a really small bathroom, and storage room. It's all we really need
and we love it!

The final picture is our efficient little kitchen. You've never seen a kitchen smaller than this one! No dishwasher and no oven. The oven is on a stand just outside the kitchen and is really what we call a toaster oven. Here it's referred to as the "Easy Bake Oven." Check out the white appliance next to the refrigerator. That's our clothes washer. Really quite ingenious. It loads on top and the drum is turned sideways. The dryer is anywhere we choose to hang the clothes. If you're in a hurry, there are coin operated dryers on the roof.

Wow, the scenery looks magnificent. What a view. What sort of food have you been eating?
Your pictures are great. You two are might dressed up, though. I guess every day is Sunday for you. Keep those missionaries healthy. Laurel
This is so fun to look at these pictures, it really is exactly how you describe it. Don't worry, your clothes actually dry faster than you would think! You look great!
